Hidaka, Saitama

Hidaka (日高市) is a city located in Saitama, Japan.
As of April 1, 2005, the city has an estimated population of 54,404 (19,480 households) and a population density of 1,145 persons per km². The total area is 47.50 km².
The city was founded on October 1, 1991 after gaining the city status alone.
The city is served by Komagawa and Musashi-Takahagi Stations on the JR Kawagoe Line.
