HICAP - video recording extension card for home computers (PC). Usually with 16 video-ins for 16 cameras. Supported resolutions: 160x120 up to 704x576, frames per seccond up to 240. These devices are mainly used for video monitoring (companies, schools, houses and so on...). When used with a good camera (and good camera-lens) HICAP also can be used at night. It's a very good solution for monitoring town squares, roads and roadcrosses while setting up the external server (for public or private view) is very easy.
