What are the chances this may be a prequel to the actual show? It's a long shot but the mother looks like Ash's mother and the protaganist of the game looks exactly like a younger version of Ash (though you never see his face) The house is different but they may have moved and the surrounding environment looks a lot like Pallet Town. The Pikachu may or may not be the same however.
Unlikely - Ash picked up Pikachu for the first time at Oak's lab, remember? 04:27, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wasn't there an in-joke in the Japanese version, at least?
I seem to remember hearing that saying "PlayStation" into the mic would make Pikachu shock you in anger. Is this true or just a rumor? 04:28, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Flying Acorn
The flying acorn is met with much skepticism and is consistently removed from the items list. I have the item myself on my save file but I have no possible way to prove that this item exists. Can anyone help out here?
Not the only game to support the voice pack Densha de Go 64 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Densha_de_Go%21_64 does as well. Cartoonborg 22:31, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
