Hey Stoopid was a studio album from heavy metal singer Alice Cooper. It was released on July 2, 1991 (see 1991 in music) and features the song "Feed My Frankenstein" which can be heard in "Wayne's World". The album included many guest appearances like Slash (of Guns N' Roses, Slash's Snakepit and Velvet Revolver), Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both of Mötley Crüe).
After Cooper's smash 1989 hit album "Trash", Cooper attempted to retain his success with this album. While it did not fair as well, "Hey Stoopid" is considered by many to be superior due to it's content. Tracks such as "Might As Well Be On Mars" and "Wind-up Toy" showcase the classic lyrical form of that of Alice's most cherished albums, such as Love It To Death and From The Inside. The majority of Alice fans accuse this to be missing from the previous effort.
The final track, "Wind-up Toy", is the first appearence of fictional character Steven in 15 years.
