Hey is the final track on the Jupiter disc of the Red Hot Chili Peppers' ninth studio album Stadium Arcadium. The song begins with a slow drum beat and bass line before a calm guitar riff joins in. In an interview with Q magazine, frontman Anthony Kiedis stated that the song is about getting rid of something which is important to you, that you hold dearly, but you know you need to dispose of.
