The airline was established on 30 March 1991 and is owned by Financiere Hex'Air (80%).

Hex'Air operates services to the following domestic scheduled destinations (at August 2006)^{[citation needed]}: Castres, Le Puy, Lyon, Paris (Orly Airport) and Rodez.

As of August 2006 the Hex'Air fleet includes ^[2] :

• 1 Embraer ERJ 135LR
• 2 Raytheon Beech 1900D Airliner

During 2006 the airline added an Embraer ERJ 145 (F-HBPE) to its fleet. Both Embraer aircraft are used for charter flights and are regularly flown on behalf of other European regional airlines needing additional capacity ^[3]
