Heroin (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heroin is a hardcore emo band originating from San Diego in 1991. The band is considered to have heavily influenced the future of the emo subgenre of hardcore punk. Emo subculture and history website Fourfa.com describes Heroin's self-titled 12 inch LP as "A wall of furious, chaotic noise, vocal-chord-shredding screaming, lyrics of ultimate disillusionment and pain, and just the right amount of melody to pull things together without interrupting the flow of angst."
