Herod is a Heavy Metal[1] band from the United States. The band was formed in 2000 in Buffalo, New York by Jesse Benker and Mike Jeffers.[2] Their first major release was Execution Protocol in early 2002 through Too Damn Hype Records.[2] In 2003 the band was signed by Lifeforce Records.[2] Since being signed the band has release two albums with Lifeforce, which are For Whom the Gods Would Destroy and Rich Man's War, Poor Man's Fight.[2]
