Hernan Bas (born 1978, Miami, US) is an artist based in Florida.

Bas graduated from the New World School of Arts [1] in Miami in 1995.

He has shown work internationally in many important exhibitions including the 2004 Whitney Biennial [2] in New York, “The Triumph of Painting” at the Saatchi Gallery [3] in London, “Garden Party” Deitch Projects [4] in New York, “Think Warm” at Tomio Koyama Gallery [5] in Tokyo and “New Figuration” at Galeri Christina Wilson [6] in Copenhagen. Bas is represented by Fredric Snitzer in Miami[7], Daniel Reich [8] in New York and Sandroni Rey [9] in Los Angeles.
