Heresy of the Shadows is an unsigned band from Falls Church VA. They were formed the winter of 2003 by Queef and 80-two as a nu-metal outfit. They soon aquired Scok (guitar), Brooke (bass), and God Hates Emo (drums). Afer a year and a half of writing, playing about a dozen shows, and changing drummers, they broke up. In the winter of 2006 they reunited with Scok replacing 80-two on vocals. This changed marked a stylistic switch as they favored a more death metal/metalcore take on their songs. They preformed their first new material in 2 years at Numbed 2007.
