From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Here Comes the Night" is a 1965 song by the band Them, whose lead singer was Van Morrison.

It was written by Bert Berns, who also co-wrote "Piece of My Heart"(covered memorably by Janis Joplin), "Under the Boardwalk" for The Drifters, and "Twist and Shout" for The Isley Brothers.

"Here Comes The Night" was Them's third single, released following the success of "Gloria". It peaked at #2 UK and #24 US, spending 10 weeks in the Billboard chart. It was also released on the EP "Mystic Eyes".
