Herb Abrams

Herb C. Abrams (1954 – July 23, 1996) was an American professional wrestling promoter from New York. Abrams died from heart complications brought on by drug abuse.[citation needed]

Abrams founded the Universal Wrestling Federation in 1990 and remained CEO of the company until his death.
He was head booker of the UWF from 1990 to 1992, and again in 1994.
