Hepatotoxin

A hepatotoxin (gr:, hepato = liver) is a chemical toxic substance which damages the liver. They can be a side-effect of medication, or found naturally, like microcystins, or in laboratory environments. The effects of Hepatotoxins depend on the amount, point of entry and distribution speed of the toxin and the health on the person.
