[edit] Thomas Jermyns
I think I have solved the mystery of the Thomas Jermyns. There were three:
1) Sir Thomas (bapt. 1573, d. 1644/45), soldier and courtier, eldest son of Sir Robert Jermyn (1538/9-1614) of Rushbrooke, Suffolk; he was the father of Henry Jermyn, 1st Earl of St. Albans.
2) Thomas (d. 1659) of Rushbrooke, Suffolk, father of Henry Jermyn, third Baron Jermyn and Earl of Dover (bapt. 1636, d. 1708)
3) Thomas (1633-1703), nephew of the Earl of St. Albans.
These three are redlined with their dates in the Henry articles. --FeanorStar7 12:45, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
