Four of the world's most prestigious institutions? Besides being a wessel term and NPOV, the count is off.

  • Hopkins Grammar School
  • Yale College
  • Yale Law School
  • Christ Church College
  • Oxford University

You could count Yale as one and Chirst Church Oxford as One, Hopkins, Yale and Oxford. I think The best bet is to drop Hopkins, though, unless it is a prestigious institutions. --User:Rayc

Indeed. Christ Church, Oxford is a college of the University of Oxford. The prestige belongs mainly to the university itself, since that is where the academic work really takes place. However, Christ Church does have a certain extra prestige since it was traditionally (and to some extent remains) the natural home of the aristocracy at Oxford (see List of University of Oxford people) and has produced almost as many Prime Ministers as the entire University of Cambridge.

Hopkins Grammar School is hardly one of the most prestigious institutions in the world. It may be one of the most prestigious schools in the United States, but hardly on a par with Yale and Oxford.--Oxonian2006 10:52, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
