Hensingham

Hensingham is a small village in Cumbria, England, that has become a suburb of the town of Whitehaven.
The village is located to the northwest of Whitehaven off the A595, and is close to the Mirehouse housing estate and Moresby Parks. It has a Spar convenience store and several pubs – including The Distressed Sailor, The Globe, The Lowther Arms, and The Richmond. It is close to Whitehaven fire station and to three local schools: Hensingham Primary School, St Benedict's Roman Catholic High School, and Whitehaven School.
