Henry Taylor was a British swimmer who was the first man to hold the world record for the 1500 metres freestyle, a feat that he completed on 25 July, 1908 in a time of 22:48.4 in London, United Kingdom.
He also won a bronze medal in the 4x200 freestyle relay at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm.
