Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd

Brigadier Sir Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd (1899 – 1968) served as Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire from 1961 to 1968.
He was educated at Eton College and at Sandhurst Military Academy. A fervent supporter of horseriding and fox hunting he was killed in a riding accident at the age of 69.
The Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School in Aylesbury is named after him.
