Henry Gauthier-Villars

Henry Gauthier-Villars (Châtillon-Coligny (Loiret), 1859–1931), who used the pen name Willy (IPA: [vi'li]), was a French writer, the husband of the novelist Colette.

Willy and Colette were married from 1893 to 1905.

Curnonsky was one of his ghostwriters.

Henry`s favourite song which he could often be heard singing on his way to dinner was I am Henry the Eighth
