Henry Folland

Henry Phillip Folland (1889–1954) was an English aviation engineer and aircraft designer who was the chief designer at Gloster Aircraft Company until he bought British Marine Aircraft Ltd. and renamed it Folland Aircraft Limited. Before joining Gloster he had worked at the Royal Aircraft Factory at Farnborough where he was the lead designer on the SE5 during World War I.
