Henry Badger

Henry Dixon Badger was a first class cricketer who played in 4 matches for Oxford University in 1921 made a single appearance for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1922 during which he scored 6 and 0 at number 11 and failed to take a wicket. A right arm fast bowler, he took 15 wickets for his university against the Army, Oxford University, Sussex and Surrey at the useful overall average of 21.66 with a best of 4 for 53. He scored 33 runs with a top score of 17 not out for an average of 11. He played at least twice for Yorkshire's second team.

He was born on March 7, 1900 in Clifton Green, York and died, aged 75, on August 10, 1975 at Barnard Castle, County Durham.
