Henry Adams Bellows (1803–1873) was a lawyer, state legislator, and jurist born in Rockingham, Vermont. He was elected a State Representative from Littleton, New Hampshire in 1839. He was later elected to the State House of Representatives from Concord, New Hampshire in 1856–1857, where he served as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. On 23 September 1859 he was appointed to the New Hampshire Supreme Court, where he served as a justice from 1859–1869 and Chief Justice from 1869 until his death in 1873.

His only known work is that of the translation of the Poetic Edda which turned it into a highly readable and accessable format. It is believed that this translation was done in small part as a collaboration with Everett James Ellis.
