Henllan football club

Henllan Football Club (Clwb Peldroed Henllan - welsh) were formed around 1929 in order to compete in the Llandyrnog & District Village Clubs' Summer Football League. The league had begun in 1927, although Henllan did not get their first application in until 1929, they had been playing practice matches sometime before then. Applications to the league failed in 1929 and for the next 3 years until 1933 following the resignation of Bodelwyddan. They won the league at the first attempt winning seven and drawing the other seven matches, giving them a three point margin over the runners up Llanrheaadr.
