Hengchun Airport
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hengchun Airport (Traditional Chinese: 恆春機場) (IATA: HCN) is an airport in Hengchun, Pingtung County, Taiwan, Republic of China. The airport is near Kenting National Park and thus is the southern-most airport in Taiwan.
Due to its location, the airport often experiences strong Katabatic wind and is forced to close. Because of this, the load factor of the flights rarely exceeds 40%; airlines are considering to file application for withdrawing services to Hengchun.[1]
