Hendel is a surname, and may refer to:

  • Friedrich Georg Hendel (14 December 1874- 26 June 1936), who was an Austrian Hauptsschuldirektor (high school director) and entomologist mainly interested in Diptera.
  • Geerd Hendel (January 14, 1903 - March 30, 1998), who was a naval architect and native of Germany.
  • Nechama Hendel (1936-1998), who was an Israeli singer.
