These are in the "commonly used tools" list but I don't think they're commonly used. I'm not going to delete them myself because of potential Wikipedia:Conflict of interest reasons. Could someone else please delete them?

  • Chm maker: Help authoring tool for creating help files in CHM format.

  • Republicorp XDK: An XML, HTML, and Help toolkit based on Microsoft Word.
  • digipedia from the makers of Sevensteps.
  • Help Generator: Help generator and authoring tool for Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and Visual Studio 2003 / 2005. For making HTML Help, web-based help and user documentation in Word.
  • WinCHM: HTML help authoring tool.

Done. Probably could be pruned more - ideally would like to have a verifiable citation stating which tools people use the most. Maybe we can use an STC or WritersUA survey? --Aguerriero (talk) 03:20, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Commonly-used tools for Wiki Users?

Can someone list authoring tools that enable users to publish wiki online help?
