Helper

A Helper is a term used to describe a type of assistant, either an actual person, device, or mixture. Variations include:
- One or more locomotives coupled to a train to provide temporary extra power.
- Author of The Impending Crisis of the South, Hinton Helper
- A town in the United States. See Helper, Utah
- A literal assistant (The professor's helper)
- A cooking ingredient (Hamburger Helper)
- A derogatory term for someone who "kisses up" ("Mr. Helper" see Back to School)
- A Nazi Party paramilitary rank known as Helfer.
- A spiritual supervisory role within Subud--see Helper (Subud)
- H.E.L.P.eR., a supporting robotic character on The Venture Bros.
