Heloxycanus is a monotypic moth genus of the family Hepialidae. The only species, H. patricki (named for its discoverer Brian Patrick), is endemic to Sphagnum and other moss bogs in the southern part of South Island, New Zealand. Its life cycle runs in two year cycles with peak numbers of adults occurring in odd-numbered years.
