Hello from Bertha

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello from Bertha is a one-act play by Tennessee Williams. It is about the dramatic life and death of a prostitute in a low-class bordello. It is very strong and very poetic as Bertha imagines events and allusions to her last moments. There are three characters in the play: Bertha, a young prostitute who listens to Bertha, and the old lady of the house who wants to evict Bertha.
