.
Paige takes the Book of Shadows into her work place to cast spells to help her co-workers' various problems. [edit] Book of Shadows
[edit] Enemies
- Furies: Like their mythic ancestors, these demonic women act as Judge, Jury and Executioner to anyone they consider an "Evil Doer". They slice victims with their sharp talons and kill with poisonous smoke. When their smoke is inhaled by a good witch, the smoke seeks out a portal of unexpressed fury, then causes the fury to build, consuming the witch's humanity, and ultimately turning her into a Fury as well. They also possess the ability to self-teleport, leaving a smoke-like effect
[edit] Spells
- Instant Karma: To make a demon feel the pain he inflicts Let Cruelty, Pain and Evil ways, follow this villain through all his days. Reverse the torment he creates, to turn on him a crueler fate
- To Promote Compromise: These words will travel through the minds, of stubborn parties and unbind, the thoughts too rigid to be kind, a compromise they'll dis-entwine
- Vanishing Spell: Let the object of objection become but a dream, as I cause the scene to be unseen
- To Call A Lost Sister: Requires a drop of blood in a candle flame Powers of the sisters rise, course unseen across the skies. Come to us who call you here. Come to us and settle here. Blood to blood, I summon thee. Blood to blood, return to me.
- Reversal Spell: Write the spell to be reversed on a piece of paper, then burn it in a candle's flame while saying: Guided spirits, hear our plea. Annul this magic, let it be.
[edit] Trivia
- The title of this episode is from the play, "The Mourning Bride" by William Congreve, Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned. This line is often misquoted as 'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'.
- Series executive producer Brad Kern stated in interviews that he wanted the character of Piper to represent the long time Charmed viewers and their anger over Prue's death so that they would be more open to accepting Paige as her replacement once she comes to this realization at the end of the episode.
- First episode where Paige learns about the no personal gain rule.
- Phoebe tells Cole about the Nexus (or rather the Woogyman) in this episode, which he later uses against the family in The Importance of Being Phoebe.
- Is the first episode where Piper refers to Paige as her sister.
- The South Bay Social Services building is the same building used for the dating service in She's a Man, Baby, a Man!
- When Phoebe levitates to hit Piper and the other Fury, you can see the double of her kicking them in the air.
- Leo said Paige was technically not a witch yet even after Paige shows to have the power to orb, in Charmed Again (Part 1), but still Piper's Lost Witch Spell worked on her. In this episode however, Phoebe said they cannot use that same spell to find Piper because the Fury Piper is no longer a witch.
- Piper is able to freeze Cole in this episode dispite giving him immunity to her power to freeze in the previous episode The Honeymoon's Over. This shows how mch her powers have strengthened in a year.
