Helion is the name of a character in The Golden Age (John C. Wright novel). In the novel, Helion is the "father" of the main character. He is one of the richest people in the known human realm and just before the novel open he had been granted status as a Peer. As one of the most powerful people in the human civilization Helion works towards slowing change and the forward progress of human society for both selfish and altruistic reasons.
