From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Helicopter Game is a flash game played in the U.S. and the U.K.. The designer is Duncan Donaldo from the south coast of the United Kingdom. The only requirements and controls are eyes and a left mouse click. The game is based on a chopper trying to pass through a cave which ‘The Helicopter’ has wandered into. You must dodge the green roof, floor and floating blocks.

[edit] How to play and Object of the game
The object of the game is to keep your helicopter in the air for as long as possible while flying in a cave without hitting the roof, floor, or obstacles that are in the way. The keys are: Hold Left Mouse button to ascend; release to descend.
- The rate of fall is 2 down to every 1 up.
- The distance between each obstacle is 38 feet.
- It take 5 seconds of play to reach 100 points.
- The lowest possible score to achieve by either tapping the mouse button and quickly releasing it at the beginning of the game, or holding the mouse button until you crash is 19.
[edit] Features
- Saves highest score (Highest Score will be blanked once the game is closed or refreshed)
- Sound Effects: The helicopter produces two different flying sounds whenever it ascends or descends vertically. A crash sound can be heard whenever the helicopter collides with an obstacle.
[edit] Flaw
There is a flaw in the game that might result in an uncontrollable crashing of the helicopter. This occurs when both spaces above and below a floating block are too small for the helicopter to pass through, resulting in an inevitable crash. The blocks and walls produced by the coding in the game are set to be positioned randomly on a y-axis, making it likely for this flaw to occur in gameplay.
