Helene Udy

Helene Udy (born on November 1, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an American actress and director. She was raised in Montreal, Canada. She is the sister of Claudia Udy. She began her career as a child actor in Canadian television shows. After studying at Montreal's Dome Theater school and pursued a degree in film communications at Montreal's Dawson College while continuing her acting career in Canadian movies before moving to New York for a 1983 stint on the soap opera As the World Turns. Now based in Los Angeles, Helene has combined acting with stage production and directing, winning several Backstage West Awards for the play Out in America by Canadian playwright Katie Ford. She was a regular cast member on the CBS series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. She has also engaged in the producing of feature films.
