Helena Roerich

Helena Roerich (February 12, 1879 - 1955) was a Russian writer . She married the Russian painter Nicholas Roerich on October 28, 1901. In 1920 they went to New York City for Nicholas Roerich's first exhibition of paintings. By then she claims to have already met the Master Morya.

She translated Helena Blavatsky's book The Secret Doctrine into Russian.

She was also one of the founders of the Agni Yoga Society in New York.
