I've changed the statue date from 1997 to 1984 as per the Yagan article and the statue plaque. Not sure if the 1997 date was significant for another reason.

I also found some photos from the NLA [1] about a 1978 Land Rights camp on the Island. Nachoman-au 16:42, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Linking South Perth
