Heinz Lorenz

Heinz Lorenz was the deputy press attaché in the Fuhrerbunker during 1945. After Germany's own communications were all but lost, Lorenz became part of a group who fabricated German news reports by reviewing and re-writing Allied news reports. Working for General Hans Krebs and working with Freytag von Loringhoven, Lorenz monitored Reuters on the BBC. German dictator Adolf Hitler never learned of the deception.
