Heidi Sørensen

Heidi Sørensen (born February 14, 1970 in Levanger) is a Norwegian politician (Socialist Left). She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 2001. She failed to get re-elected in 2005, but as Kristin Halvorsen was appointed to a Government position, Sørensen meets in her place.

In her youth Sørensen was an active environmentalist, and was leader of Natur og Ungdom between 1993 and 1994, and later became leader of Friends of the Earth Norway between 1995 and 1998.
