[edit] Grande Ecole and MSc programs
The International Admissions Service (SAI) manages the student recruitment tests and interviews on behalf of the HEC Grande École and four other Grandes Écoles in France. HEC Grande École, through SAI, selects only those candidates with a degree gained upon successful completion of at least three years of university education outside France (equivalent to the French licence or Bachelor’s degree). The selected students enroll directly in the second year of the Grande École Program and, after two years, get HEC's degree of Master of Science in Management.
[edit] MSc in Management
The Master of Science in Management is HEC's leading program. 380 students are accepted each year after succeeding at what is known as a concours for which they prepare for two years in classes préparatoires. This program then lasts for three years, plus generally an extra one year of internship between the second and the third year. HEC's MSc in Management was ranked number one in Europe in both 2005 and 2006 by the Financial Times.

[edit] Full Time MBA
In 1969, HEC Paris launched the full time HEC MBA Program, becoming one of Europe's first MBA Schools. It aims to differentiate from other MBAs by its diversity, its bilingual option, its 16-month curriculum structure, and the MBA Tournament organized by its students.
The Institut supérieur des affaires is the department of the École des Hautes Études Commerciales that manages its full-time MBA program. The HEC MBA Programattracts exceptional students from around the world with more than 55 nationalities represented in the 2005 graduating class. The rigorous selection process seeks an overall balance between academic achievement, professional experience, international exposure, and personal motivation. Knowledge of French is not an entry requirement, but participants are highly encouraged to have a basic knowledge of French at the start of the MBA Program.
In addition to completing the online application form, candidates must present an official university transcript; official GMAT test scores; TOEFL, IELTS, or TOEIC results if applicable; two letters of recommendation; and essay responses. Pre-selected candidates are invited to attend evaluation interviews conducted on campus or in designated cities around the world. The HEC MBA Program has exchange and double degree partnerships with numerous universities and business schools around the world.

[edit] Life on campus
HEC is located on a 110-hectar woodland campus in Jouy-en-Josas, 25 km South of Paris next to Versailles. Lodging is provided for students as well as sporting and various other facilities. A map of the campus can be found at: http://www.hec.fr/hec/fr/groupe/campus/index.html.
[edit] Clubs
Numerous clubs or societies exist on campus (around 130). Alumni's website is www.campushec.com -in french-, which gives a presentation of each and every one of these. Among these clubs are: -Rugby Club HEC -Ski Club HEC -Féminin Rugby HEC -HEC Football Club -HECedres, which represents and promotes the Lebanese culture on campus. -HEC débats, which organizes debates and conferences on campus.
Above all, The HEC Student Council (Bureau des Eleves in French) is in charge of the global entertainment of the campus, as well as of the coordination of all club activities and of the representation of the students in front of the campus administration.
The BDE thus organizes weekly events such as parties (HEC parties are the most recognized ones among all French schools and universities), lunchs and brunchs, spectacles and other sport and corporate manifestations. The BDE is a 40-student team being elected each year in April and for which the competition among students creates the well-known Student Office Campaign.
More generally, each club changes is leading team around June every year and students who get involved in leading positions are thus rewarded after one year of basic involvement.
At HEC, students can practice every sport and clubs are diversified from religion and politics to sailing in the Caribbean! The HEC campus thus offers a very intense lifetime to students and it can be said that nothing is impossible inside the campus, except not to know what to do.
