Moved the following from mainspace. Does not seem to be relevant to the modern Hebrew Catholic community.

The Spanish King Ferdinand the Catholic of Aragon had a Jewish mother as well as the Inquisitors Fr. Tomas de Torquemada and Fr. Diego Deza, all responsible for the Jewish expulsion from Spain. According to some researchs of Athol Bloomer in his work THE HOUSE OF DAVID, Charlemagne and some Jewish descendants who established the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem had Jewish mothers, too. Other source claims that all this has now been superseded by the modern Exilarch declaring himself as such.
