[edit] Spirit

Hebron, You are so grand

Finest School in all the land
Together we will fly, as years go by
Hawks soar with pride and grace
Flying to a higher place
You stand so strong and true
Go Black, Silver, Blue!

—Hebron High School Alma Mater

Sports teams are nicknamed the Hebron Hawks (with Lady Hawks referring to women's sports) and the school colors are black, silver and blue. The official school mascot is Harry the Hawk.

Football players are encouraged to "Bring the Wood" (abbreviated BTW) by their coaches and a large plank of wood can be seen at football games with the phrase inscribed on its side. The popular slogan has earned Hebron's stadium the nickname "The Woodshed."

The hawk talon, raised in the air while singing the alma matter, is made by curling the index and middle finger in the air while bending the thumb toward the palm in a similar fashion and tucking the ring and picky fingers into the palm completely.
