Hebridean Brewing Company

Hebridean Brewing Company is an independent brewery founded in January 2002 by Andy Ribbens in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. The brewery produces cask ale and filtered beer in bottles.

The cask ales are available in various pubs around Britain and at British beer festivals. The filtered bottled ales are sold in the Scotland and specialist beer outlets in Britain.

The brewery produces six regular beers. The award winning Islander, the award winning Clansman, the award winning Celtic Black ale, Berserker, the Seaforth ale and the newest ale called the Moo Coo Brew. All beers are available in casks and the Islander, Celtic Black ale, Clansman and Berserker are available in bottles as well.

In November 2006 the Hebridean Brewery won the Camra, beer of winter award for its Berserker Pale Ale which is a real cockle warmer at 7.5% ABV and ideal for those long winter nights.
