Hebrew Reali School

The Hebrew Reali School of Haifa (Hebrew: בית הספר הריאלי העברי בחיפה), also shortened as The Reali School, is a renowned private school located in Haifa, Israel. It was established in 1913 by Dr. Arthur Biram, following an ongoing debate among the Zionist community of that time, over which language would be used in formal education. The first branch of the school was opened in Hadar, Haifa; 6 more branches were opened since.

Today the school holds seven branches:

  • Yesod Hadar (elementary school)
  • Tichon Hadar (middle school)
  • Yesod Ahuza (elementary school)
  • Tichon Ahuza (middle school)
  • Tichon Merkaz (elementary and middle school)
  • Tichon Bet Biram (high school)

In 1953, a military boarding school was established in proximity to Tichon Bet Biram. Students in this boarding school study in Bet Biram and participate in military training.
