Hebeloma is a genus of fungi related to the large genus Cortinarius. Found worldwide, it contains the Poison Pie or Fairy Cakes (Hebeloma crustuliniforme) and the Ghoul fungus (H. aminophila), from Western Australia, which grows on rotting animal remains.
