Hebel, Queensland

Hebel is a town of approximately 100 persons in Balonne Shire, in south-western Queensland, Australia. It is situated 4 kilometres north of the New South Wales border on the Castlereagh Highway.
It was reputedly named after a German immigrant family.[citation needed]
