Heavy Urban Search and Rescue

Heavy Urban Search and Rescue or HUSAR is a joint unit of Toronto Fire Services, Toronto Police Service and Toronto EMS created to deal with search and rescue operations in the City of Toronto. The 65 member unit was created following the events of September 11 and allows the city to deal with large scale disasters.
