Heavy was Swollen Members' third full length release on Battleaxe Records (excluding Monsters in the Closet which was a B-sides compilation). Heavy was intended to be a return to the group's darker sound expressed on Balance, though many regard it as their most mainstream release to date. In spite of having a large number of catchy tunes, the record did poorly due to abysmal video play of lead single "Watch This" on MuchMusic and the fact that it was their third release in three years. Guest appearances include Abstract Rude and Son Doobie.
