Heaven Grey

Heaven Grey was a Latvian Gothic-doom band. It was formed in 1993 and soon became one of the most famous bands in the Latvian metal underground. It began as a death metal band, then moved on to doom. The band's lyrics were in both English and in Latvian. The band broke up in the late 1990s.
Guitarist Sigvards Blazevics died of cancer in 2004. The leader and vocalist of Heaven Grey, Ansis Melders, was killed on 24 September 2005 in a motorcycle accident.
