Heartbeats Accelerating is a 1990 album by Kate and Anna McGarrigle.
It was their first album in seven years, after Love Over and Over in 1983, and received favourable reviews from many music critics, who hailed it as an excellent comeback album.
Bill Dillon, Pierre Marchand, Joel Zifkin and Kate's son Rufus Wainwright appear as guest musicians.
