The Health Promotion Board (HPB) was established in 2001, with a vision to build a nation of fit and healthy Singaporeans.
To achieve this, the HPB undertakes the various national health promotion and disease prevention programmes in Singapore with a goal of increasing the quality and years of healthy life and preventing illnesses, disability and premature death.
