Head is the first full album by Chicago noise rock band The Jesus Lizard. It was released on Touch & Go Records in 1990. It is their first release to feature drummer Mac McNeilly.
It is known for the song "Pastoral", which displays a very strong sense of melodicism compared to other songs on the album. According to one interview with lead singer David Yow, during the recording of the album he asked his bandmates if they wanted to record "Pastoral" and they told him that they had recorded it the day before, but he was too intoxicated to remember doing such.
